Choose your account type
One question decides it: do you hold your customers' accounts? If you do, you are a service provider. If you are building software that talks to somebody else's accounts, you are a partner developer.
You are building an application on the APIs — a wallet, a budgeting app, a marketplace, a lending platform.
- You do not hold anybody's accounts yourself
- You want API keys and a sandbox to build against
- You will ask institutions and their customers for access
Confirm your email, and your organization and sandbox are created straight away. Registering an application provisions its test customers and accounts immediately; a member of staff activates your account before you can sign in.
You are a bank, an electronic money institution or another regulated institution, joining as the provider behind the APIs.
- You hold accounts for your own customers
- You hold a licence from a financial regulator
- You will decide which applications may reach your customers
Confirm your email and you can sign in immediately. You then complete an enrolment — legal entity, regulatory authorisation, contacts, evidence and a signed declaration — and our team reviews that, not your account.
Still not sure? Pick partner developer. It is the account most people need, it costs nothing, and we can move you if it turns out to be the other one — write to experts@pocketpass.app.
Institutions already enrolled are listed in the provider directory.
